Situated in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, HMS Victory opens at 10am everyday throughout the year. Best known for her role in the Battle of Trafalgar, Victory currently has a dual role as the Flagship of the First Sea Lord and as a living museum to the Georgian Navy. She transferred to The National Museum of the Royal Navy in 2012.
Polite notice: The audio tour is currently unavailable as teams source new equipment which will be available to visitors from early 2020. The Victory Gallery will also be closed from 3 November 2019 until 3 April for refurbishment works.

New for 2020
From 3 November 2019, a fantastic refurbishment project will begin inside The Victory Gallery as new interactive exhibits are created which will tell the story of Victory's own preservation project and her history at the Battle of Trafalgar. This exciting transformation will require us to close the gallery until 3 April 2020 when it will reopen to visitors. Alongside the gallery, a new 'dry dock experience' will see visitors walk under the Nelson's flagship - an exciting experience for all.
