HMS Victory is pleased to offer tours to those visitors with disabilities. For visitors who have a mobility special need, Victory can offer a video tour of the ship, followed by a tour of the original Lower Gun Deck and crews living space; this deck is easily accessible from dock level. The tour will last approximately 50 minutes and can be pre-booked on arrival at the Historic Dockyard. For visitors with a visual impairment, HMS Victory can offer a braille script which can be used to complement your guided tour, or as a deck plan during free-flow touring. Unlike most museums, HMS Victory's artefacts are freely available for handling by those with visual impairment.
Guide & Listening dogs are always welcome but to ensure your visit is successful please contact the Learning Development Officer in advance.
If you would like to discuss the needs of your group or would be interested in organising a special tour or workshop then please Contact Us.
